This will either be a problem with the monitor settings (you can adjust the three colors separately in the monitor settings of most models), monitor damage, or cable, connection, or video card. Windows has no settings that can control this.
Lost the color of red in my display settings. Monitor is not the problem. Help!
turned on computer last week and the screen turned darker and now it doesn't display the color red. Tried to recalibrate my settings with no change.

Follow the steps listed below:
Step 1:
Uninstall and re-install the display adapter drivers from Device Manager and check if that fixes the issue.
To uninstall device from device manager, follow the below steps:
b. Expand Display adapters.
c. Highlight the display device, right-click and select Uninstall.
d. Restart the computer.
Step 2: Update drivers
Download and install the latest Windows 7 compatible display drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
