How do I find Divice Driver (DOT4PRT)

HP printer says I am missing Device Driver ( DOT4PRT  ) I dont know where to find it or how to download it.

HP printer says I am missing Device Driver ( DOT4PRT  ) I dont know where to find it or how to download it.

HP includes the DOT4 printer port with the HP printer driver installation.

You don't really need this (you can use the standard Windows USB port), but it does provide a few extra bells and whistles.

Uninstall and reinstall your HP printer following the directions here:  Article One

    ·         What is the model of the printer?

    ·         When exactly are you receiving this message?

    ·         Have you installed the related software and drivers for the printer?

    I would suggest you to update the drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check if it helps.
