    I downloaded my USB Drivers from this site: http://motorola-surfboard-sb5101-usb-cable-modem.soft32.com/free-download/

    It seems to be working fine on my Windows 7 Ultimate Edition, although I had to somewhat force windows to except it. Please note as well that the majority of all Motorola Cable Modems Have been discontinued and are no longer updating the soft ware and firmware of those products. Both the Arris and Motorla Companies have joined forces to transforms how service providers deliver entertainment and communications without boundaries. The combination of ARRIS and Motorola Home creates a new level of vision, innovation, and expertise in network infrastructure, transport, and user experience that will transform how cable operators, telcos, and broadband service providers deliver entertainment and communications experiences to subscribers throughout the world.

    In other words, change your modem to an Arris modem, because Motorola modems are discontinued. You can still buy them, but they are no longer supported by the company.
