I can't copy/paste any .dll file on my laptop even after taking ownership in Windows 7

actually I have installed a game which requires to copy a .dll file from the game folder to the folder where the game is actually installed on C drive. But when ever I try to copy and paste that .dll file from the game's folder to the C drive game folder, it says 'you need to have permission from everyone' and doesn't paste. Any suggestions would be helpful ...
