driver transfer from one computer to another { different computers}

my husband is missing some or all of his drivers  he cant even get on the internet so i was told that on my computer go to the manufacture site and download the drivers first my husbands computer is a hp pavilion dv 6810 and mine is an acer aspire  what i need is the steps on how to first download the drivers then second copy them on to my husbands computer.  not having the same computers and downloading the drivers on my computer wont this mess up my computer?  i need  steps steps  steps   pleASE  ANYONE  HELP!!!!!!!!

    you download and SAVE the drivers to a location on your computer's desktop from HP then copy them to a flash drive and transfer them that way to his

    then install them on his machine

    you do not install them on yours

    and there are 2 models for that HP series number you gave here

    find the correct drivers for his operating system and computer model at the below link
