If your system is old it may have have USB 1.1 ports. Only way to fix it (if youre using USB 2 devices. Either buy USB 2 PCI cards), or upgrade the system. So you get / have USB 2 ports

I received a message stating that my device could run faster if I upgraded to a high speed usb host controller. Is this something I can download or do I need to purchase a new usb controller? Thanks, Kevin
