    Hi

You can install Windows Virtual PC on the Home Premium version of Windows 7.

However, you cannot install the XP Mode on that system. XP Mode requires Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate.

Another way is to open the Start Menu, click on your account name and then open the "Virtual Machines" folder. If Virtual PC is installed, you'll find a "Create virtual machine" button in the toolbar.

If you have the virtual PC program downloaded and installed, just start it like a normal program. You should then be able to select whatever virtual machine you want to start from it.

XP mode is just virtual PC with a .vhd of XP ready to use, to make it easy for users to do things in XP, so you shouldn't need to download it.

Is something preventing you from starting virtual PC?
