One sure way of sending a link to a web page is doing it manually, which really isn't difficult.
First, open Notepad to place the URL of the web page temporarily. (If you're not sure how to open Notepad, click the Start orb and type Notepad into the search box, Notepad will appear at the top under Programs)
Now open the web page you want to send the link to, place your cursor over the address bar (where there http:// is at) and right click, this with both highlight the URL and display the context menu, select Copy. Now Paste the URL into Notepad. If you like, you can also type a title above the URL.
Now you may open your e-mail program and start your message, when you are ready to paste the address of the web page (and title) into your message, simply copy it again from Notepad and Paste it into your message. By placing it into Notepad you can send multiple links in a single message if you so desire. Should the URL be extremely long it may wrap in your message so advise the receipent they may need to copy and paste it into their browser for it to work.
Regardless of type of browser, or version of browser, this method will always work for you. Hope this helps you out.
