Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB905474)

I was updating laptop with microsoft downloads when I was not allowed to continue due to the Windows Genuine Advantage Notification - KB905474.  I was not permitted to install 118 downloads.  How do I remedy this situation.  My laptop was originally used for business and the purchasing co. wiped clean the Vista operating system and software and added XP Professional.  I have successfully added SP3.

    If the company installed a volume license version of XP Pro that is no longer valid, you are out of luck. To determine this, right-click on My Computer, select Properties, and look at the information on the General tab. Under "Register to:" you will see a Product ID. What are the first eight characters listed?
