· When you try to install java on the system, which location are you selecting to F:\ or D:?
Make sure that the path that you are installing Java is D:\ and then try to install java and check whether the issue is resolved.
I would suggest you to unregister and re-register Windows installer, and check if it helps:
a. On the "Start" menu, Type Run in the search bar and hit enter.
b. In the "Open" box, type "msiexec /unreg", and then press ENTER.
c. On the "Start" menu, Type” Run” in the search bar and hit enter.
d. In the "Open" box, type "msiexec /regserver", and then press ENTER.
I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in the article given below.
