My laptop has a 64-bit microprocessor.  Is there any software that can make the T5 PDA compatible with this processor?

No extra software but you can sync through Bluetooth: http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/common/article/32859_en.html

If you're using a desktop, and don't have built in Bluetooth, you can purchase a little dongle that will fit in a USB port:  http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=bluetooth+dongle  They are at least not nearly as expensive as a new PDA!

I was able to sync my T5 with my Fujitsu Lifebook T731 using a Bluetooth connection. It took a few tries, but what appears to work is:

    • Go to Bluetooth (e.g., click the Bluetooth logo at the bottom of the screen)
    • Power "ON", click Prefs.
    • Click Setup Devices.
    • Click PC Setup.
    • "Set up a wireless connection..." and complete the process.
    • "Set up your PC to synchronize using Bluetooth" and complete the setup.

The first few times, I just tried the "set up to synchronize" and it didn't work. Once I went back and set up the wireless connection, it worked like a charm. (Note, this might work with just the wireless connection setup, but "if it ain't broke..."

Hola Aruba2006.  I have an antique PalmOne Tungsten T5 as well.  I want to download the info from the device into the hard drive of my 64 bit Del lap top, but have received a message from windows that the device is incompatable.  I see you were having similar problems.  Did the fix recommended by Cari help?  Did you purchase the dongle and did that fix the problem?

Were you able to hot sync your T5 to your 64 bit machine?

    Gracia por vreustra colaboracion!
