It means you have two devices that have the same IP address on your network. It just means two machines are configured with the same IP (do you have a PS3, XBox360, another machine/laptop?).

Each device needs a unique IP address to work properly on a network. A reboot will typically fix the problem, unless both devices have their IP set to a static address.

Here's how you check/change it (on Windows XP):

    1. Click START >> Network and Internet Connections >> Network Connections.
    2. Double-click your LAN or Internet connection.
    3. Click Properties.
    4. Click the General tab.
    5. Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and click Properties.
    6. Click on the General tab.
    7. Select Obtain IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically.
    8. OK out of all the windows and when you're back at the desktop, reboot your system.

    I hope this helps!
