HP OfficeJet 7500A All-in-One printer will not work wirelessly

I have a new HP 7500A All-in-one printer.  It is installed via ethernet cable via my router for access by my desktop computer.  That works fine.  It was also installed for wireless access by my ThinkPad laptop.  It no longer works after applying a series of Windows updates (not sure which one caused the problem).  When I  view the printer properties from the ThinkPad via control panel message reads printer unavailable.  It is also grayed out.

Had this same issue with another HP wireless printer.  Thought it didn't have a strong enough radio signal to stay connected.  Got rid of it and bought this much more expensive one!  Same Issue.

Kindly give me a fix for this once and for all. Don't have the time to continually reinstall this printer!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you.

    Hi DRidings,

    1)       Do you get any error message?

Method 1:  Run the printer troubleshooter and then check

    Open the Printer troubleshooter

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Open-the-Printer-troubleshooter

Method 2:  You may refer the steps mentioned in the link below

    Troubleshoot network printer problems

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Troubleshoot-network-printer-problems

(Article applies to Windows Vista, steps holds good for Windows 7)

    Method 3:

If the above steps fail, I would suggest you to uninstall and re-install the drivers from the following link.
