I've actually figured this out after being on the phone with microsoft with no answer. I went to the Intel forums and there was one other person with my problem. For some reason my computer was reading my processor as only one core instead of 4. So I had to go into msconfig and check "use original boot configuration." I have no clue why it was unchecked to begin with but it completely resolved it after a restart. Thanks for the reply anyway!
How do I make "Set Affinity" come up in Task Manager?
I have Windows 7 64 bit. I have a game that requires me turn change my i7 860 to run on just CPU 0 and CPU 1. I do know how to change the affinity. (start task manager, go to process, click show processes for all users, right click on process) But for some reason my "set affinity" will still not show up. And yes I am the administrator and there are no other accounts on the computer. Please help, thank you!

· What exactly happens when you try to set affinity?
· Do you get any error message?
· Is the set affinity grayed out?
· Do you get set affinity option on other processes?
· Which game are you trying to run?
Try following the below methods and check if it helps:
Method 1:
I would suggest you to create a new Administrator account and check if it helps:

Also refer to:

Method 2:
You can also try running the game in Windows Compatibility Mode and check if it works:
