Why TBIL converter of microsoft is not functioning with windows 7?

I can not work with TBIL Gujarati converter of microsoft with windows 7. With windows Xp it is functioning properly.

· What happens when you try to use the converter?

· Do you receive any error message/code?

I would suggest you to run the application in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

I also tested with TBIL Converter 3.0 on Win 7 x64 and get same error.

I also tried running in suggested compatibility mode of Win XP SP 2 and get same error posted above.

Hello,

I have download latest version of TBIL converter 4.0 from http://www.bhashaindia.com/Downloads/Pages/Home.aspx

The program runs fine in Windows 7 x86, but in Windows 7 x64 it consistently produces the following error in the log file:

Error converting File <file name>

----Details----

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {3937BFE0-B44D-11D6-8D78-0080C804817B} failed due to the following error: 80040154

Research online suggests that the program needs to be compiled in a way where it can run on x64 systems without issue.

Can you please notify the developers and ask if they know the cause, how to workaround it, or to post a new build?
