My system does not recognize the VuPoint "Magic Wand" portable scanner when connected to the USB port.

Jennifer has it worked fine from the start or have you always had some issues with connectivity?
I have always had this issue with it. You should also know that I returned the first wand and replaced with another, in case the problem was the unit, so this is the second one I've tried. I've taken it down to the store, and they can access the images on it just fine.
The website does not have a driver for the ST415 "Magic Wand." My computer will intermittently recognize the hardware, but the connection , when it is recognized, goes away. I'm operating Windows XP (Service Pak 3). I've checked the USB ports and they work fine with other hardware.
Try to download a driver
