Logitech Force 3D Pro Game Controller to sensitive in Windows 7

Microsoft says this controller is compatible with W7.  Yet, since getting a new W7 computer,used to run XP, the controller is way too sensitive to fly FSX no matter what settings are used.  Additionally, the Logitech gaming software that allows fine tuning to the controller will not even load although it is installed.  I can get NO help from Logitech.  Anyone have any idea as to what I can do.?  Thank you.   BobK

    Hi,

    To change the settings for the Logitech Joystick refer to the steps provided below.

    a)      To adjust the joystick power, go to Control Panel, and click "Game Controllers".

    b)      Click "properties" for the Logitech Force 3D Pro.

    c)       You will  see the test "area" for the Logitech Force 3D Pro.

    d)      Then click "settings" to manage the force feedback and centering spring settings.

    e)      Adjust the settings from here and test to suit your preferences.

    If that doesn’t help, then I would suggest you to post in the Logitech Community Forums.

    Yay! it worked!

    Controls > Sensitivities

    Ailerons = 100%

    Elevator = 0%

    Rudder = 0%

    Null Zone of all them = 0%

    Hi.

    This is 2015, I got homesick of playing FS2004, got this same joystick from a friend, and got this same problem that BobK is posting.

    I appears BobK himself found the solution here:

    http://www.simforums.com/forums/how-to-reduce-logitech-joystick-sensitivity\_topic37782.html

    and I am thus replying to his post with the solution given that he nor anyone hasn't.

    I haven't yet tried this solution, but I surely will.

    By the way, BobK said "whatever settings are used",

    therefore of course he had tried the settings of the dang controller. duh!

    The calibration dialog does not provide any means of ajusting the force feedback at all. its a very basic (lame) implementation.

    I have the same hardware from Logitech and wonder why this "Windows 7 Compatible" joystick fails to have the correct icon in the devices section?

    Could it be an issue with the driver installation as I can't seem to run the profiler any more under W7P either?

    Regards,

    Dave
