Installing ethernet drivers after reloading Windows XP home edition

Hi,

I've had to reload windows XP home edition and the associated drivers. However, after the install i am unable to access the internet because drivers associated with the ethernet card were not installed. It appears they don't come standard with the installation CD. Where can i download these and are there any resources available to help my install them so i can use my internet?

Thanks,

You need to right-click My Computer and select Manage. Then click Device Manager. Telll us which devices have question marks next to them.

Once you know which ones need drivers installed, you can use either your drivers CD or the drivers from the Dell web site. If you need further help, it might be better to post to the Dell users support forum.

    Hi,

Then my suggestion is to go with Davee's most recent post, from what I saw, under 'Network' there are 5 items, only one of them is the driver for

    Broadcom 57XX Gigabit Integrated Controller

The download location of all the correct drivers is dependent upon the make, model, and model number of your PC.
