How to Increase Keyboard response time? (the actual time takes from pressing to it respond, not the repeat rate thing)

As titled ...

I have a keyboard delaying issue when typing in various applications (internet explorer to Visual Studio)

It's bad enough that I can feel the difference.

I am on a laptop. It has been a problem since day one.

I found a RMClock tweak one day to lock the CPU frequency to max, it did help a lot, but still bad enough.

And that makes me think it's a CPU or system issue.

Is there're a way to give the keyboard scanning a higher priority or something?

Thanks!

    Hi,

It’s seems to be hardware issue, I would suggest you to contact manufacture of your computer and check.

The first link takes you to where it tells how to change the repeat setting. I believe the problem mentioned is NOT the repeat setting.

    Hi thanks for replying.

Yeah it can alway come to that at the eind. But I have a strong feeling there's something to do with CPU. My laptop is out for 2 ~ 3 years by now. Don't think the manufacture would care about it anyways.

and using a USB keyboard is just the same as using the laptop's keyboard.
