I cannot get any VMware Horizon Client install to work past V5.2 on a brand new laptop running Windows 10 20H2 19042.804 which is supposed to be compatible.
Online forums frequently blame C++ versions but I have made sure these are up to date and 'repaired' just in case.
Tried running with McAfee deinstalled and no joy.
This installer DOES work on other laptops running 20H2 which suggests there's something wrong with my Windows software install or some Windows feature. Any ideas?
Sorry for Azure tag but struggling to locate any matching tags.

    I have fixed this issue.
I finally uninstalled all C++ from my laptop. I did not reinstall it.
I ran the VMWare client install executable again, and it reinstalled C++ itself.
After this the client install completed successfully.
