how do i put audio from pc to tv

i have a vga lead got pc screen on my tv but no sound on tv just on pc

    VGA only carries video signals not audio. Your options are to stay with VGA and make a separate connection using an audio cable of some sort or use HDMI (if you have it) which supports both video & audio signals. See:

    Connect the audio output on your PC to some external speakers or an audio input on your TV.

    Or, as already suggested, use some method to connect the computer to the TV that carries the audio signal in the same cable as the video.

    Unfortunately - without a better description of your computer and the cables you have available *and* the inputs available on your TV - I'm not sure there is much more anyone could do.
