All hardware support (including the software installed to help the hardware communicate with the operating system - known as the driver) comes from the hardware manufacturer.
If you think you are missing a driver - you should visit the manufacturer's web site for drivers for your model and download the appropriate drivers for your particular model and operating system choice combination. Unfortunately - not knowing what you may have plugged into your laptop/connected to your laptop or any information about your laptop other than it is a laptop... That's about all I can tell you. ;-)
