USB dongle internet connection too slow

Hello.

I use usb dongle for my home internet connection and I always face low speed problem, I heard that if I disable usb power saving regime then the dongle will always work on 100% and that it can help to solve my problem. I understand that mostly problems come from radio part of my internet provider, but they really do everything to solve my problem but everything is the same and I try to check other factors dongle speed is 14.2 Mbps but mine is very unstable,sometimes even 50kbps. Please explain me how can the powering of USB port affect my dongle work.

    Hi AshotMnatsakanyan,

    ·         Did you check for the issue in safe mode with networking?

    You may try the following.

    **Method 1:**Boot the computer in safe mode with networking and see if the issue persists. Report the results.

    **Method 2:**Check if the issue persists when power saving is turned off.

    a.        Plug in your power adapter. Click "Start" on your computer screen and select "Control Panel."

    b.       Double-click the "Power Options" icon. Click on the "Power Schemes" tab and select "Never" under "Turn off hard disks, System Standby, System Hibernates and Turn off monitor" That will prevent any of these devices from going into power save mode.

    c.        Click the "Hibernate" tab and remove the check from the "Enable Hibernation" option. Click "OK" to save your changes

    Hello,

    Thank you very much for you response. I will make these tests today, but what do u think, when does the usb port start to work in power saving regime? if that mode begins only when PC system also goes to that mode then I don't think that it can help, because mostly my PC is in active regime when i use internet. However I think that it is logical that when the usb goes to the power saving mode the electric current that flows to the dongle decreases and the whole powering of dongle drops.
