I don't agree that threads become "old" because of dates. So much great information available Online and in the minds of people and books and more. That being typed, I want to share a great Thank You for this! I do not like the Ugly, bland and flat look of Windows 8 and 10 (Metro), so I'm one of the many users whom won't be installing (updating it until WindowBlinds makes a better theme). So, I'm keeping my Windows XP and Windows 7. Yep, this game rocked with Windows 98 and XP, but man, was I bummed when I installed from my CD (NOT "Digital Download" as I prefer to OWN a CD rather than only a file...which I'm able to install without needing the Internet. Burnable ISOs are okay) and noticed it didn't play well at all with 7. This share was exactly what was needed, and everyone else!! I tried the game with VMWare Workstation (10.0.3) but since it doesn't support direct graphics so well, it still doesn't play well there. So, much appreciation for this. I'm very stoked (pleased) being able to play this fantastic game. I wish there were more made like it.
For the share, though, I feel that sharing the actual patches page would be better because not everyone is Tech Savvy and recognize removing the file name and sharing the page would help someone know that more patches for other versions are available.

This fixes many of the problems Lemmings Revolution has with Windows 7.
The upshot is that LemRev uses DirectX 7, and many features of DirectX 7 were changed in later versions. This patch addresses those changes.
WARNING: This patch is NOT official by any means, and neither Microsoft nor I are responsible if it does something unintended. It will probably work fine, but legal issues make such a disclaimer necessary.
1 year, 7 months and 2 weeks. Well, if one person was still monitoring it - perhaps Kevin JackSaunders is too... :-)
