    hi

Microsoft has moved on to Windows 7 and no longer sells Vista

and be very careful buying a Vista Product Key/Licencer online; a lot of them are pirated

you would be much better trying a local Computer repair Shop to see if they have ant leftover Vista Disks/licences

    or consider installing Windows 7:

if wishing to upgrade to Windows 7 it will depend if your laptop/computer manufacturer has windows 7 drivers available for your computer/laptop as to whether Windows 7 will work correctly on your machine

    check with them

    and read this

    if problem then continues:

    2. press ENTER on your keyboard
    3. select your country.
    4. take the phone activation option, and hold on for a real person instead of following the automatic prompt process

or run a MGA Diagnostics Report and repost in the Vista Genuine Forum

Should have come with your Windows Vista installation media or on a sticker on your computer.

    Otherwise:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/products/get

"Microsoft no longer sells Windows Vista, though we will continue to support it."

If you want another license - you'll have to find some store (online or otherwise) who still sells WIndows Vista and buy a copy from them.
