SanDisk Cruzer Micro U3 2GB USB Flash Drive

When I plug my cruzer 2.0 GB into my old windows XP, the U3 pops up on the task bar and I can open it.  When I plug same cruzer into new

Win 7, and I open it in taskbar, U3 doesn't open and only shows I have 1KB of data, when on the XP I've got about 1 GB of data.  What's up with this?

Any help greatly appreciated.  Thanks

The U3 system "opens" two drive letters. One is for the "fake" CD system that U3 boots from and the second  is the "data" drive.  Check the drive letters in My Computer.

Also, please note that Sandisk has abandoned the U3 system.  They offer a removal process that will completely remove the U3 system and make the U3 Cruzer drives a standard flash drive.
