    Hi,

    ·          When do you get this message?

    ·          What is the complete message?

    ·          When did the issue start?

    If you get this error on start-up, then start the computer in Clean Boot and check if that makes any difference.

    Note: Please ensure that the computer is set to start as usual by following the step 7 from the article.

    Hello Diana (or anyone that can assist),

    HPMSGSVC.exe is consuming 99% of my CPU processes (task manager) so my computer is running slow to not at all. I ended the process and all is better for now. Can I remove this file, or does it do something useful? It apparently has something to do with HP Quick Launch Service (on my Compaq Windows 7 Home) laptop.
