What is the path for Windows filesystem root?

Hello good people, I was wondering if anyone can tell me that is the path for windows root folder , only answer i found was on wikipedia and it was "file://" ,but when i program that path i just get an exception , and "C:/" for example works properly. So basicly the question is ,tell me whats the path for windows filesystem root? ty

    C:\ is the filesystem root, %systemroot% is a shortcut to where Windows is installed.

    %Systemroot% is the path to C:\Windows.

    Is that what you mean?
