The only time I am able to see this folder is through an application via AOL called AOL System Application. I click on the software tab and it shows the address of the folder I need however when I go to explorer to find that folder I cannot find it. I am trying to copy emails from AOL that were saved to the PC to my new laptop. Again the folder is called programdata
Thanks

Hi
The ProgramData folder should be there? This folder hoplds configuration and settings files for installed software.
Check to make sure that the folder has not been hidden.
Click the View Tab.
Select the Show hidden files, folders, and drives option.
Click Apply / OK.
Close and re-open Windows Explorer and check to see if the folder is now visible.
Remove the check mark from the Hidden option at the bottom.
Click Apply / OK.
You can then go back and set the Don't show hidden files, folders, and drives in step 1.
Let us know what you find.
Regards
