Windows 7 Trouble shooting and Microsoft Fix it

I wanted to asked about Windows 7 Troubleshooting and the separate Microsoft Fix it web page scans.

I am new to Windows 7 and often preform preventive maintenance scans to keep my PC error free.

I happen to see Microsoft Fix it has their particular scans as well. My question is Microsoft Fix it the same as for the Windows 7 Trouble shooting scans as well as the Fix it category in 7?

Another question is have anybody used the www.Reimage.com program?

A lot of my problems Reimage free scan nailed on saying repairable. It is not a optimizer as I gather but It would be nice if this was a Microsoft product and could preform the same. If there is something like this Microsoft do tell please.

Regards,

Eric

    Hi Palcouk,

I do now have MSE. I dumped Comodo and a Utility as well. I do have problems with my PC and the fix it and scans dont find or correct the issues example win exp crashing unexpectedly and my problem reporting if off and grayed out as well. Those kind of issues the fix it or win7  do not recognize so it will be a in place upgrade then.

    Thanks for you input.

You dont need any third party 'speedup my PC' type of programs whether paid for or free.

Win contains all the tools required to maintain your PC.

You can set Defrag in win7 to run on a scheduled basis

And say once a month run Disk Cleanup

Theres no need to run any of the FixIt scans, unless you have a problem

Unless you are constantly messing with win7 settings or installing incompatible programs, or software from dubious scources theres very little else you need do.

MS provides a free Anti Virus app http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security_essentials/default.aspx which has received reasonable reviews
