MS Trackball Explorer RE-RELEASE IT!

After years of not needing a new mouse due to the fact that I purchased several MS Trackball Explorers for home / work / travel machines. The last of the trackballs have died. And now I am in need of a new trackball. From the following that this trackball has, I find it an absolutly absurd business choice to not re-release this piece of hardware with updated drivers / usb revision / etc in the same form factor as it was originally released. It quite agruably is the BEST mouse for work / gaming EVER, and I for one want to see it's return. The only things that not releasing this OUTSTANDING product is doing is driving the after-market costs of used hardware through the roof, and making a LOT of people angry at Microsoft. So do what has to be done, re-release the best trackball platform ever made.

There is more then just me that wants this trackball to be re-released. If you look into the community that swears by this trackball, you will clearly see that this is a highly sought after trackball, with prices commanding well over 250 dollars for a new in box device, and prices right at 100 dollars for a used one for parts... It is only good business to bring the device back.

I also want MS to release new trackballs. Logitech has backed off their wired models and my Logitech trackball T-bb18 is dying and those go for $100 easy new.

MS's old trackballs go for $250 and up new in the box because of how comfortable and durable they are.  Broken ones go for more than most gaming mice just for the parts. There are ebay repair kits with ceramic bearings for these things.

I would easily pay $100 for one of these to be American made again, if the old factory is still around.

Mechanical buttons that won't wear out would also be nice as well.

C'mon Microsoft, try doing these as a kickstarter if you're afraid they won't sell.

I'd also like to see a remake of this trackball, obviously updated with USB 2.0 or 3.0 and maybe a bit higher DPI.

This is a nearly prefect trackball design. I've searched the market and nothing even comes close to comparing...

Oh.. and please don't make it wireless.. keep it wired for us gamers :p

I'd gladly pay $100-$150 for these.

There's massive demand for this product. Make it. Please.
