    Hi,

    ·         Which game are you trying to run on the computer?

Xlive.dll actually comes in the 'Games for Live' package installer. Let’s download Xlive.dll from the following link and check if that helps.

     http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=128962

    a)      Download the package

    b)      Right click the package and choose 'Run as Administrator'

    c)       Install the application and restart the computer.

    d)      Try and run the game and check if the issue persists.

Hi! I encountered the same problem. However, when I tried installing it, my computer always fails to complete the installation, saying that there is an error occurred during the installation of assembly. Attached is a screencap of the message. I hope you could help me with this issue. Thank you very much

This should be better explained from the get-go. I've just spent around 30 minutes dodging malware programs in order to find this.
