It may be worth a try to install Picture It!

as Administrator and also run Picture It! as

I have MS Works Suite 2004 (from a previous computer purchase) and a new PC running Win 7 Home Premium. I don't remember if I got the Works Suite with my previous computer (running XP Home) or the one prior to that (running Win95).In any event,I installed Picture It! Photo Premium 9 From the MS Suite disc on my new Win 7 64 bit system without any issues.

This does not work. I don't see how that would work anyway. >.>

Why would you discontinue a product and replace it with a piece of ____? Windows Live Photo Gallery is just a basic image viewer, not helpful whatsoever. Picture Manager is better than that. Picture It Photo 2002 runs great for me, but every time I won't to load an image through the search function in it, it crashes.

    Compatibility is NOT an issue.

    =======================================

FWIW...Photo Gallery / Live Photo Gallery is definitely not a

replacement for Picture It!...(not even close)

The latest and last product in the MS Picture It! line was MS

Digital Image Suite 2006 Anniversary Edition.

There's still a 60 day trial version available that can be

    downloaded from the following site:

(FWIW...it's always a good idea to create a System

Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Microsoft Digital Image

    Starter Edition 2006

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=7C3B3DED-A15F-48C5-B724-7796FE8C151E&displaylang=en

    (this product line has been

    discontinued but you can still

    download the Starter Version

and run it for 60 days)

Unlike the retail version...the trial does not

have the ability to create VCDs and it does

not include the clipart and pre-formatted

    projects.

It's possible to find copies of the 2006 product at

online sites like eBay and Amazon.
