I have a Dell XPS M1330 laptop with Wndows Vista 64 bit operating system bought in July 2008. I have a windows 7 64 bit upgrade disk. When I am trying to upgrade, it is asking me to upgrade my BIOS. On dell website, I see different version of the BIOS upgrade for my model. Which one should I use? I have downloaded the  BIOS version A15, but not tried to install it, being afraid that it might not be the right one and my system will crash and damaged! Please help!

Use the latest revision, make sure the update matches your system model number. Updating is usually a safe procedure, I updated by brothers Inspirson 640M purchased in 2006 the other day and its surprisingly quick and easy.
