Active sync for Windows XP Pro SP3

Need active sync for Windows XP Pro SP3. Where can I find it? If not available what other options do I have. Too much on computer to upgrade.

    Hello TerryParkes,

    The Active Sync download also works with Windows XP SP3 but the download was released before the release of Windows XP SP3 so it was not listed in the System Requirements.

    You can install the version of Active Sync listed above.

    Thanks Marylin,   Very helpful info.  MS needs to hire you to edit their website with the false info: Here it is: 

    "Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5 is the latest sync software release for Windows Mobile-powered devices. ActiveSync provides a great synchronization experience with Windows®-powered PCs and Microsoft Outlook right out of the box. Note: Microsoft ActiveSync works only with Windows XP SP2 or earlier"

    This is what the website still says on August 28th, 2011.   If this ALSO supports SP3, then why hasn't Microsoft updating this page?  This error has wasted my time and reduced my repsect for Microsoft and a technoligy company that cares about its customers.   Just because I'm not using Windows 7 on my phone doesn't mean I shouldn't be considered important enough to have documentation for a key tool like ActiveSync updated.   And all it takes is to edit a few sentences?

    My next phone will surely NOT be a Windows phone!
