Is there a way to run an old DOS program on a system using XP Professional?  To get an updated program would mean manually entering 2500 files.

I found a simple painless 3rd party open source solution. It's accomplished simply by running a DOS EMU called Dosbox.

Use the latest version from www.dosbox.com.

Read the easy to understand Doc's for the command line interface commands. Worked perfectly the first time to run an old (80's something)  DOS ASCII B&W strategy game I use to run on DOS v3.2 on an 4 mghz IBM XT clone platform.
