According to the Windows 7 Compatiblity Center, both x32 & x64 drivers are compatible. The driver installed automatically when the system was setup. This is a Windows 7 Professional x32 system. Receipts from a old DOS program print correctly. This program uses old DOS style print control commands. However, if I print a test page, or a text document viewed in Notepad, I get garbage. It behaves as if an incorrect driver is installed.
On another x32 system, if I add the printer as a ahared, network printer, the driver is found and installed automatically, but test pages and text documents exhibit the same 'print garbage' behavior.
The Okidata driver web page does not offer drivers because they are included with Windows 7.
Does anyone have any suggestions to offer?
