    Hi Les47,

    1. What happens when you try to open old PDD files?
    2. Do you get any error?
    3. Were you able to open them before?

Please explain the issue in brief so we can assist you further.

Manasa -- I am not Les47, but I found your reply when looking for help opening files from my first digital camera, manufactured by Kodak, which I used in 1999.  These files have the suffix *.pdd.

I have not looked at these files for several years, but I tried to open them recently using the Windows media player (WMP) and the Picasa photo viewer (PPV).  The WMP gives a long error message suggesting that the file type is not supported or the compression codec may be a problem.  The PPV simply gives an invalid image message.

I uploaded the files from the camera to my desktop using software that came with the camera.  I have not found the CD with that software and it would probably not work on my Windows 7 OS.  I was hoping to find some software that could convert the old image file to a newer image type.
