dwg file extensions not showing up

A problem has cropped up this week. When searching for a file the extensions for AutoCADD .dwg don't appear. All other extensions seem to be there including the .bak extensions for the backup files for those same ACAD files.

I am using AutoCAD LT 2008 with FusionWare on a MacPro computer. I recently downloaded DWG True View and Autodesk Design Review 2012. Could this have something to do with it?

Oops, I figured it out. Go to Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Folder Options>View Tab. Scroll down and uncheck "Hide file extensions for known file types."

I don't know why all the other file extensions were showing and only the dwg were not, but this solved the problem.
