How can I change the default font of Sticky Notes?

I wanna change the default font of Sticky Notes of Windows 7. As answered in previous thread, I can copy from other software to get that. Fact is when I restart the application or the OS, it returns into Segoe Print again. Sometimes it's not displayed as Segoe Print at all (especially mixed with other languages). I searched the Internet, told to delete the font to get the sans-serif, will it risk the OS stability or something? What can I do to set another font? I heard that it can be changed in Windows Vista, is that true? Will there a patch to add or fix that if so? Or will that be added in Windows 8?

You can solve this by modifying the registry a little bit. It's pretty easy.

    1. Go to registry : Start -> run -> regedit
    2. Go to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts
    3. Right click the fonts you want to modify and type the name (the actual file name) of the font you want substituted. (For sticky notes, modify both Segoe Print and Segoe Print Bold. For example, arialn.ttf and arialnb.ttf for Arial Narrow)

Reset your computer, and you should be good to go.

I should mention that this will substitute those fonts WHEREVER they are used, not just in Sticky Notes. (I don't know where else they appear.)

    Hi,

Windows uses Segue Print font as default in the sticky note.

Changing font format is not supported in sticky note.

Refer the link below for details on the changes you can customize with Sticky notes:

You may provide your feedback to Microsoft on the link provded below.

Thanks for helping, I've found a file that defines the font named StikyNot.exe.mui. But I can do nothing else but reading for now 'cause it can only be modified by "TrustedInstaller". Is there any way I can hack this to define my own font as default font or can you provide a gadget to do it?
