    Hi GeoffHulme,

    You may follow these steps & check if it helps:

    a. Insert the DVD on your computer.

    b. Double-click on My Computer.

    c. Right-click on your CD/DVD drive, and then select Format.

    d. In the File system list, click UDF format.

    e. Click Start.

    f. Click OK to start formatting. 

    g. Click OK again after format is completed.

    Hi GeoffHulme,

    What type of DVD are you using?

    Let’s follow these steps & check if it helps:

    1. Insert the DVD into the DVD burner and wait for a dialog box to appear.
    2. Click on the Burn files to disk button in the dialog box.
    3. Input a name for the disk in the next Burn a disk dialog box and then click on the Show formatting options command.
    4. Select either Live File System or Mastered as your formatting option, click the Next button to format the disk.
