Windows 7, Msvcr71.dll, where can I find to reinstall

Have a new Laptop Computer and have lost a Windows 7, driver called (Msvcr71.dll). Without going to someone in cyberspace I do not trust, where can I find and how do I reinstall the replacement. Where can I find a trusted driver on your site.

    1.       When exactly do you get the message that Msvcr71.dll is missing?

    The DLL file Msvcr71.dll belongs to the Microsoft Visual C Runtime library version 7.1 engine. This file is a core Windows component used by several Windows applications such as Microsoft Visual Studio.NET versions 2002, 2003 & 2005 and Microsoft Office version 2002 & 2003 that have Microsoft C++.NET. This DLL file is also used by a few other Microsoft and non-Microsoft applications.

    Step1: Reinstall the Program.

    If the error started appearing soon after you have installed a new application or device driver, then it is quite possible that the error is occurring due to problems in the installation. To rectify the error in this case, uninstall the software you installed and reinstall it.
