Hi
Once every 4-5 days we have to clear the log files manually from C:\inetpub\logs\Logfiles\W3SVC1 & W3SVC2, how can we fix this issue either by reducing the events to be logged or by configuring automatic truncation of log files.

We have the script to delete the old logs. What we are looking for is a configuration change with IIS to reduce the events logged / truncate the logs at IIS level

To my knowledge, you can enable or disable logging, configure the format of the IIS log file, specify the categories of information to store in the log file, and change the directory where the log file is stored. You can also use the <logFile> element to control how often IIS creates a new log file based either on log file size or time interval and the maximum size (in bytes) that a log file can become.
Please post query in dedicated IIS forums https://forums.iis.net/ to check if there are any custom fields can be added in the configuration file to achieve this if its supported.

The recommended way is to regularly clear the old IIS logs as the logs may be helpful in troubleshooting.
If you would like to limit the IIS logs, I suppose you may custom the W3C logging fields in IIS .
