Try these drivers or buy a new printer:

what is the solution to the kyocera fs 720 printer and windows 7?
I have the same problem but haven't managed to fix it.
I downloaded the 2.2.0918 driver zip file and extracted the files. I then went into update driver and told it the location of those files. It said the best driver was already installed and Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43).
Excuse my ignorance but what do I do now? Any suggestions? It seems criminal to have to replace a perfectly good printer with a nearly full toner cartridge.
I had the same problem.
Although I don't have the full functionality anymore (the little pop-up screen which tells you how many prints you have made) I have found a driver that at least alows me to use the printer in an acceptable way.
Please google on driverversion 2.2.0918 extended driver from Kyocera
