How do I stop my printer from being one of the startup programs?

I have a Brother MFC-7340 all in one printer that I just installed.  My desktop computer (running Vista) has a slow startup, so I want to remove this printer's "Control Center"  from being part of the startup routine.  Windows Defender indicates that Control Center is 'not yet classified,' and it doesn't give me the option of disabling it.  How can I stop this program from being part of the startup operation?

Disable the entry using the system configuration utility:

Click the Windows Orb (Start), type msconfig and press Enter. Go to the Startup Tab and remove the tick alongside the Control Center’s name. Click Apply, OK, etc. and restart the computer. When it restarts, put a tick in ‘Don‘t show this again‘ as you‘re effectively doing a selective start up.
