More than likely there is a compatibility issue wiith
the format of the music file.
Try converting the music file to the .WMA format
before importing into Movie Maker.

i get the following error message when trying to add music to a slideshow in windows movie maker.........The file cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again. How do I find the codec file and how do i install it?
