This assembly is protected by an unregistered version of Eziriz's ".NET Reactor"

A few days ago I downloaded some files from the internet. After that when ever I start my computer I get the message This assembly is protected by an unregistered version of Eziriz's ".NET Reactor". This to say the least annoying. But more than annoying I think it is a virus or a malware because my computer is not performing so well since then. Luckily I had McFee Total Security installed otherwise I think I would have had been in a lot of trouble. It seems that my DSL is not functioning so well in Windows Seven because of it and it seems to be eating up the hard drive C 's space. I tried to locate it using Powerdesk and Directory Opus but failed to locate it. It is not even in the add and remove programs as well. So how to get rid of it?

the all above comments are really **** BULL **** and completely useless... this problem can easily be sort out by this "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware"

you just need to download http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and install it and perform a quick scan.

you will definitely get rid of this problem.

    I can help.

    1. Restart Computer in a Safe Mode
    2. Go to Folder and Search Options under Organize
    3. Click on View, then click on Show Hidden files, folders, and drives.
    4. Uncheck all Hide
    5. Close that and go to Windows folder.
    6. Look for System32 folder.
    7. Scroll down until you see Microsoft folder. You can open the folder if you like just to see what it is. You see window.exe (that is the Eziriz's .NET Reactor). Trust me you'll thank me later!
    8. Go back to Microsoft Folder and delete folder.
    9. Restart your computer.
    10. That's it. No more pop up Eziriz's .NET Reactor.

Hi, I have this problem too.

I just tried your solution as above but there is no window.exe file in the Microsoft folder. The only there is just another folder within it called Protect and three other empty folders within the Protect folder called S-1-5-18, S-1-5-19 and S-1-5-20.

Might I be doing something wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated!
