Compatibility
Do you have the newest version of the software? Some older programs/versions may not work in Windows 7.
If not check with the program maker if they have any updates or patches for the software.

Troubleshoot Compatibility
This can help with some (but not all) programs:
- Uninstall the program if it's already installed. Then when you install/reinstall it instead of double clicking on the install file right click it and select "Troubleshoot Compatibility"
- Then click "Try Recommended Settings" and in the next windows click "Start the Program" to install it.
- After it installs see if it works correctly. Please note - some programs may not be able to run in windows 7.

Microsoft Picture IT is not compatible with Windows 7. Microsoft's Picture IT has been discontinued and has been replaced with Windows Live Photo Gallery. You may download Windows Live Photo Gallery for free and install it on Windows 7.

You can also use the built in photo editing program Paint. To open Paint click the Start button, click All Programs, click Accessories, and then click Paint.
