Hello there,

I recently got a microsoft wireless laser desktop 4000 set with the following components in it.

  1. Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Receiver 3.0A
  2. Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 1.0A
  3. Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0

After seeing the product description, I realized that it is compatible with windows vista, xp, 2000 but not sure about windows 7. I tried to install the drivers for this product from the link http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/wireless-laser-desktop-4000 . It installed the microsoft IntelliType Pro 8.2 software but it didn't seem to work. I am not able to see the Desktop Receiver blink in any of the 3 channels it has on it when I press the button on it connecting to the laptop USB port. Can someone please suggest me a solution to get this product work for windows 7 please? I am 100% sure that all my 3 USB ports work.

Thanks,

Murali
