Where is Encoding drop down list in Vista's Notepad?

Notepad 6.0 (Build 6002: Service Pack SP2

from 64-bit Windows Vista Home Premium SP2

Whenever I try to save a file I just created, I get this error message:

Notepad

C:\Users\Bobby\Documents\html files\xmarks-04-09-2011a.txt

This file contains characters in Unicode format which will be lost if you

save this file as an ANSI encoded text file.  To keep the Unicode

information, click Cancel below and then select one of the Unicode

options from the Encoding drop down list.  Continue?

Where do I FIND the Encoding drop down list?  I've already tried

everything that looks likely under this header line, and found nothing

relevant:

File Edit Format View Help

I've also tried searching the help file for encoding; it found nothing

relevant to the Notepad program.

"You can do this on the 'Save as' dialog, near the button there's a drop down list for encoding." The Encoding drop down list is found at the bottom of the dialog that pops up when you select "Save As..."

Click on File-Save As and next to the button 'Save' there is one button Encoding:ANSI and you just have to change it to Unicode.Sorry for the bad English.

Six months later and there is still no help at the link you provide. Since this page is at the top of Google's search result for this question, how about an answer on this page?

Where is the "Encoding Drop Down List?" Simple question. The dialog box that pops up when you attempt to save a file with Unicode characters in Notepad clearly states that you must use the "Encoding Drop Down List." Where is this located in Vista and Windows 7's version of Notepad?

If this dialog is a bug, then please identify it as a bug on this page and get the developers to work on finding a way to save Unicode characters in a Notepad file. If there is an answer, then let's have it. Where is the "Encoding drop down list" that Notepad itself claims to have as a part of its program?
